A Strong Start for Best Babies Zone Westlawn
October has been a busy month for Best Babies Zone (BBZ) Westlawn, a new initiative to improve healthy birth outcomes in the Choice Neighborhood area. The initiative is building momentum with strong support from community members, a new funding partner, and a visit by the national BBZ team, which is based at the University of California-Berkeley. On October 2, UnitedHealthcare presented the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County with a social innovation grant to support the work of BBZ Westlawn.
