State of the City Features Former HACM Resident Alyssia Mullins
Mayor Tom Barrett addressed the citizens of Milwaukee in the annual State of the City address this Monday, February 26th.
In the address, the mayor took time to applaud the redevelopment of the Westlawn neighborhood and to highlight the inspiring story of former HACM resident - and new homeowner - Alysia Mullins (shown above with HACM Secretary-Executive Director Tony Pérez). Alysia found housing stability at Westlawn in 2012 and used HACM programs to move to self-sufficiency in 2017. You can watch Mayor Barrett highlight Alysia's story here.
