HERE! Summer Talent Search
The CNI area has so much to celebrate, including the people, businesses and cultural assets that call it home. We’re highlighting these unique assets through a talent search called HERE! HERE!, launched in August by MKE <-> LAX, is a talent search designed to support the production of a creative placemaking plan to stimulate long-term art, civic engagement and cultural leadership throughout the CNI area. In September, artists will be holding pop-ups throughout the CNI area and generating videos highlighting local talent. Maybe you’ve already seen the crew out at Havenwoods State Forest, National Night Out, Collier Creations, Richard Kluge Elementary School, and McGovern Park. The videos captured at pop-ups will be screened at neighborhood gatherings and through spontaneous street side engagement. Check out this video below of artist Adam Carr introducing the project:
