Resident Spotlight: Erica Lofton
Erica Lofton, 16, is the CEO and Founder of Girls in Action, Inc. The charity, created by Erica when she was just seven years old, promotes girl leadership. Erica had the opportunity to introduce Vice President Joe Biden at the White House in 2015, and was recognized for building bridges between youth and law enforcement as part of her effort to increase community. Having grown up in the neighborhood, Erica enjoys the diversity and the great community spaces. Erica hopes to see more structured, youth-led activities in the neighborhood for teens that promote the arts, the youth's talents, strengths and ideas. We're proud to have Erica serving on the CNI Steering and Neighborhood Advisory Committees.
