Resident Spotlight: Rose Sandrone

Rose Sandrone is a mother to two adult children and has lived in Havenwoods for more than 40 years. She is very active in community meetings and works closely with the Havenwoods Economic Development Corporation. This interest in community leadership and working to help others comes naturally, as Rose’s mother was active in the Peace Corps for years. Rose’s favorite thing about the neighborhood is the connections she has made with people and becoming more socially involved in the community. She would like to see more of her fellow residents make the effort to make the community a better place to live. As she says, “We can spend our whole lives searching for something better, or we can spend our current time making what we have the best it can be right now.” This goes along with her personal motto, which is "Don't move, improve!" In her free time, Rose likes to crochet, knit, craft, garden, hunt, fish, hike, shoot pool, and watch “Around the Corner with John McGivern” or “Outdoor Wisconsin.”
