Businesses of all sizes will find unique resources to help them grow in the Westlawn Gardens Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) area. With over 700 new, mixed-income homes in development at Westlawn Gardens and a wide array of quality-of-life improvements throughout the larger neighborhood, the area presents unprecedented opportunities for business growth and development.
In addition to a wide range of city and other resources, the CNI and partners are offering resources available specifically to help businesses grow in the CNI area.
The Façade, Lanscaping, and Signage Grants program provides up to 80% in reimbursements for eligible costs. HUD matching funds through the critical community improvements plan and Havenwoods Economic Development Corp. (HEDC) may be available.
The Milwaukee Choice Neighborhood Revolving Loan fund is a small business loan fund administered by WWBIC to create opportunities and increase local incomes through the support of small businesses located in the Choice Neighborhood boundaries.
